Do you suffer from dental anxiety? Do you need a lot of dental work but do not want to take off a lot of time from work? Dr. Luffey can help! Dr. Luffey is trained to provide safe, comfortable, and relaxing sedation dentistry. Under conscious sedation, our patients commonly have little or no recollection of the treatment they receive. As a result, we can provide an array of services that can restore health and beauty to your mouth.
What is Sedation Dentistry?
Oral sedation dentistry is now the most common technique used in the United States to quell patient fears. The technique is easy and requires no needles. Best of all, the medications create such a comfortable experience that most patients do not remember the visit; it is as if they slept through the treatment. In reality, oral sedation dentistry maintains a level of consciousness in the patient for safety and cooperation. Note that most dental treatments still require a local anesthetic injected in the mouth, even when sedation dentistry techniques are performed.

Digital X-rays
Our office uses digital dental x-rays to provide even better dental care and more accurate diagnoses. The process of digitally capturing an image is much faster, safer and more comfortable for the patient.
The digital dental x-ray system is more sensitive than dental x-ray film systems, so your exposure to x-rays is cut by as much as 90 percent. The large, color-enhanced images let you see what Dr. Luffey sees.
